Finally found out the Carly did in fact have a staph. infection.....a good kind (as if it should be called "good")....again. She's two others in the last 6mos! I am grateful it was not the bad kind!!! She's on diff. meds and it is finally clearing up and she is not in pain anymore. Here are couple pics......
Me, on the other hand, am fighting off a nasty spider bite. Not as nasty as the one I had on my shin a couple years ago, but more like the one I had on my chest last year....for those of you who were around to see them. Pretty nasty! Lindsay performed Reiki on me last weekend and apparently I've got issues (haha) so it's past time I relax and take better care of myself....mentally too. Thanks for the healing help Linds!
Mom, Dad and Jeff officially moved to new house in Murrieta. Happy that Jeff was able to get a transfer to brand new SUPER Target up there!! The house is already livable! Shane left today to spend a week and Gavin will go up next week. Carly's not allowed out for more than a night yet.....lol ;)

Firsts'
Last week Carly started taking more and more steps. She sill prefers crawling as her mode of transportation. I actually want her to start walking....get her off that floor so she stops finding and putting everything in her mouth!
Its been a while since Shane had a 1st, but today he "lost" his first tooth. I say "lost" cause it was actually taken by the dentist! This was a tooth that he hit on monkey bars way back in preschool (lol!) when he was 3. It kept turning darker color and dentist finally took it as it would be hazardous to his gums and nerves and what-not :). Not only did they take the tooth, they also kept it. We're (mostly me) are bummed we didn't get to keep it.
Shane will being writing a letter to the tooth fairy explaining what has happened and hopefully she will understand. On top of a tooth being stolen he also had a root canal and a cap. Wow! This breaks my heart (and my wallet)! I didn't have anything like this done til just a couple years ago....and I was cranky then! We did make it better with a Frosty from Wendy's ;) And since I had to take the other 5 kids and they waited oh so patiently for 2hrs 15min (not that I was counting..lol) they got Frosties too!

And away we go.....
Mother's Day: Hope everyone had a fabulous Mama's day!! I DID! :)
Redding trip/Memorial wknd 5.22-28.09: food, family, swimming and more food!

New Daycare Kidz & new blog: cr8tivekidz.blogspot.com
Jen (BF since 7th grade...even if she thinks I hated her for a little while), Mitch and their BEAUTIFUL family moved back from CO and I am fortunate enough to be able to
take care of Mackenzie 7yr, Matthew 5yr and Melanie 4mo.
(.....daycare blog is empty right now but give me a couple more days and I'll update at the end of each week)

Birthdays 5.27 & 6.02: Shane's 6yrs and Carly's 1yr...wow! We've got Shane's dr. visit next week to see how much he's growing...he sure is eating! Carly is still an Itty Bitty (as daddy calls her). She is only 17lbs.....3% for her age. She is following in Shane's footsteps in this regard. Its ok, just means she gets to wear those CUTE clothes longer.

Fundraiser for Africa: So I reconnected with a fabulous friend from HS and she has a wonderful family. Her and her husband (along with other friends) are going to Zambia, Africa to teach the orphan kids about God. How great is that? Anyway, I can't get to Africa but I did try to help a little by getting my hands dirty for their carwash fundraiser; which raised more than $250...that awesome considering the carwash was for free ;). For more info and ways to get involved read her blog @ www.steenberg5.blogspot.com. I am so excited for them and pray that they have safe travels.
T-ball Tigers: The season is over...no more 8am Sat. games!
(for now...cause you know it wont stop here). This team and the parents were so awesome! If there was an ALLSTARS for Tball they were it!!

Shane's Kindergarten Graduation 6.17.09: Is this really happening?!?
And, yes....I did cry....a couple times (here I go again) :)
Did I mention I went all out?...balloons, car graffiti.....

Oh ya....and Gavin gets himself injured AGAIN!: No hospital this time though the pictures seem like we should have. I will spare you This is what happens when you are dancing around in circles to your favorite song and fall into the dining room table.....instead of sitting down eating your not so favorite dinner at the dinning room table......

Well, that's pretty much it...lol! I wont wait so long next time! Love you all!

Sweet Angel, Kayleigh
I am heartbroken for Kayleigh's family. She spread her wings and flew up to heaven last night. They didn't get to take her home, however, they did get to let the sunlight and breeze dance across her beautiful face and hold her without any wires or tubes attached. Please pray for her mom, dad, brother and sister. They have strength but its going to take an army to get them through this. Visit their story here (go back to the beginning) http://kayleighannefreeman.blogspot.com/
They also taped a show for "The Doctors" ( http://www.thedoctorstv.com/main/show_page/205 ) prior to Kayleigh's departure. The segment will air on tomorrow's episode. "The Doctors" have already posted a message about Kayleigh's passing on their site ( http://www.thedoctorstv.com/main/content/Kayleigh )
I have been attatched to this story since a little before her birth (while looking for support with Carly's NICU stay). Their story has helped me in ways I can't begin to explain and in trying to give back by helping the Freeman's spread their story of faith, I hope you can find time to read/see about this awesome family!
Kayleigh, now its time for you to take care of your mommy and daddy; brother and sister....keep them strong and guide them. Love you Freeman Family!4.22.2009
Prayers Requested
Please pray for Kayleigh! Her and her family needs us right now!! http://kayleighannefreeman.blogspot.com/
Thank you!
Thank you!

Have you ever....?
Have you ever been hit in the head by an aluminum baseball bat? Wonder if it hurts more than a wood bat? Ever been hit in the head by a door knob just hours after being hit in the head with an aluminum baseball bat?
Just ask Gavin.......
...he found out yesterday! First, while I was out (alone! yeah me!), Steve went to hand someone a bat and Gavin's head got in the way. Apparently he had a helmet on too....must contact helmet company regarding faulty equipment. So we went to Scripps Urgent Care (don't mess with head injuries!) and waited...and waited...and waited....and HE's GOOD! :) Oh, but that's not all. After a much needed nap, I go out to the garage to get an icepack for him and as I come back in Gavin is coming out and again, his head got in the way! Yes, the doorknob hits him above the left eyebrow. Poor monster! I bet he wanted to go somewhere else....somewhere safe! He's much better today. It's gonna be nasty when it starts to turn purple and yellow. What a tough cookie!
