The Big 5!

Well, the party was a great success! Thank you everyone for coming and sending Shane birthday wishes. It was a bit chilly but we were determined to use the water slide. Shane also had a great time at the Padre game the night before (even though they lost.....again).

Shane's Upcoming Birthday

So Shane will be 5yrs on the 27th and we are getting ready for his big "SD Padres" party. Check out the invitation below. Not sure if he's more excited about the party or the fact that, as he says, "Baby Sister comes out after my birthday!" Gavin, on the other hand, is definitely more excited about the "PARTY!" Too funny.

A Great Idea!

So, I've been viewing our friend's (Rockkin Robbins) site for some time now and wanting to create our own family blog....so here it goes.

I hope this helps us keep in touch with friends and family across the world. Complaints of not calling (I hate the phone...sorry), writing or sending enough pictures will be a thing of the past. Unfortunately its very easy to forget someone or not remember who I already told my lame stories to.

Here's to better communication from the Elkins 5!
